A Important Message General Manager, Gene Blum, 4-14-26
I am thrilled to share some exciting news. Holes 4 and 5 will reopen for play on Wednesday, April 15th, following the completion of our months-long storm drainage repair project.
This has been a significant undertaking, and the video below captures the final stages of that journey in video; from our dedicated crews laying sod and bringing the hole back to life, to stunning drone footage showcasing the finished product from above.
I want to personally thank the HEBGC grounds team for their incredible work, precision, and commitment that have transformed this area of the course and ensured long-term playability for seasons to come. I couldn’t be more proud of everything our team accomplished. I would also like to thank the Landscapes Unlimited crew for their dedication and hard work on this project.
As we welcome these holes back into play, we do ask that all players keep a few things in mind:
• Hole 4 will remain CART PATH ONLY until further notice to protect the turf and support proper recovery.
• Please avoid playing from the newly installed sod. If your ball comes to rest in these areas, you are entitled to free relief — please utilize one of the designated drop zones.
We truly appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of the course during this recovery period, and your patience throughout this entire process has meant a great deal to our team.
We’re proud of the results and look forward to seeing you back out on the course!

Update 2-19-26
Message from General Manager Gene Blum 1-15-26
We are excited to share an update on the 2026 Irrigation Project and our first drone video highlighting the progress is below this message.
Over the past few months, as many of you have seen, the irrigation pipe and components have now been delivered to most of the holes, and with Landscape Unlimited crews already working on projects in Colorado, it gave us the opportunity to begin earlier than anticipated. Starting now allows us to complete portions of the project with less disruption to the golf course and play when the season begins.
Key project focus areas before the golf season begins also include:
- Construction of the new pumphouse on Hole #11
- Drainage work and main line installation on Hole #4
A special thank you to Marty, Kenyon, and Noah from our HEB team for their hard work and coordination on this video.
We’ll continue to share updates and additional drone videos as progress continues. With the cooperation of the weather, we’re pleased to move forward early and are very excited about the improvements this project will bring to the course and community.
