2020 HEB Pool Rules & Regulations - During COVID-19
Our indoor and outdoor swimming pools are now open. There are significant differences from normal operations because of state requirements and procedures intended to protect the safety of employees and residents.

We recognize that there are conflicting preferences for how the pools should operate, and that no solution will satisfy all residents. We will monitor our procedures to make sure they are serving residents as intended. Also, if and when state requirements allow, we will adjust our pool operations to improve your experience. In the meantime, we ask for the same patience, understanding and cooperation that you have shown while using the Eagle’s Nest, fitness center and outdoor recreational facilities.

Everyone using the swimming pools will be required to sign a waiver of liability. The form has a place for parents and grandparents to sign on behalf of children.

Employees have been preparing and training on sanitation and safety protocols, with an emphasis on their safety and yours. That said, each of us has the responsibility to keep ourselves healthy and safe. This responsibility includes:
  • Stay home (and perhaps get tested) if you are sick or have COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Avoid recreating in public spaces if anyone in your household is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Continue to physically distance, staying at least six feet from members of other households.
State guidelines restrict us to a maximum of 50 people at a time in the outdoor pool, and 6 people at a time in the indoor pool (25 percent of our normal indoor pool capacity). That capacity limit eliminates water volleyball for the foreseeable future.
Because of the capacity restrictions, use of the pools for most of the day will be limited to residents and family members registered as residing with residents; other than the time slot reserved for children, no outside guests are allowed.
HEBGC pool equipment will not be available for use, including during aquacise sessions. Personal trainers are not allowed.
Food and beverage services at the outdoor pool will be available from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. by calling in your order to the Eagle’s Nest, and must be paid for over the phone at the time of order. HEBGC staff will deliver your order to the pool. These employees will not be allowed to take orders directly from you.
As always, no food and beverage (other than water) is to be brought into the pool area from the outside. No glass bottles.

Reservations Are Required
Reservations must be made by calling the Welcome Desk (303-693-7788) the day before or morning of the date you want to use one of the pools. You may make only one reservation at a time, with a maximum of six people per reservation at the outdoor pool, and 2 people per reservation at the indoor pool.

Hours of Operation
Welcome Desk:
  • Sunday, Monday: 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday – Saturday: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
OUTDOOR POOL

7 a.m. – 6 p.m. by reservation only, with time slots according to the schedule below:

EVERY DAY

7 am – 7:55 am reserved for lap swimmers and pool walkers

10 am – 12:50 pm for adults only (age 19 and above)

1 pm – 3:50 pm for adults only (age 19 and above)

4 pm – 6 pm IS ONLY for residents accompanied by children and their children’s parents.

MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

7 am. – 8:55 am reserved for lap swimmers and pool walkers.

9 am – 9:55 am reserved for residents participating in aquacise groups. CLICK HERE to see Acuacise class details in the Club & Groups section.

EXTRA SATURDAY AND SUNDAY TIME BLOCK

8 am – 9:55 am for adults only (age 19 and above)

         
INDOOR POOL AND HOT TUB

8 am – 6 pm by reservation only, with one-hour time slots (four people in the pool, and two people in the hot tub)

When You Arrive
  • Access is ONLY through the front door of the clubhouse.
  • All adults, and children who have reached school age, must wear a facemask when entering the clubhouse, and must keep it on until reaching the pool. It must be worn any time you are outside the pool area, including if you leave to use the lower level restroom (other than the ones in the indoor pool room).
  • You must stop at the Welcome Desk and check in.
  • You will be required to sign a waiver of liability. Welcome Desk staff will have your signature on file after your initial visit.
  • You will be provided a color-coded wristband to enter the pool areas per your reservation. This will help employees in the pool area ensure we comply with capacity limits, especially during the changeover between time slots. 
  • Access to the outdoor pool will be through the lower lobby doors at the bottom of the stairs.
What To Expect At The Pool
  • Pools will be cleaned throughout the day.
  • Residents must sanitize tables and chairs before and after use (material will be provided).
  • Tables and chairs will be arranged to allow for social distancing between residents not living in the same household; please help us keep them that way.
  • Lower level restrooms will be available, but locker rooms and showers in the locker rooms will be closed.
  • Indoor pool showers will be available.
  • The swimsuit tumbler will be closed.
  • Water fountains will be closed; please bring your own water bottle.
  • HEBGC pool equipment will not be available, including during aquacise sessions.
When You Are Finished
  • At the change of time slots, all guests will exit the pool area before the next group of people is allowed to enter. Please be efficient in exiting the pool area. This will help employees in the pool area ensure we comply with capacity limits, especially during the changeover between time slots. 
  • People using either pool should exit out the new gate at the west end of the outdoor pool deck (as some call it, the “Bocce gate”) and up the stairway to the parking lot, unless use of the elevator is required.
  • Please cooperate with employees who are monitoring the time slots and pool capacity.
 
POOLSIDE MENU
  • Power Salad - $13 - Spring mix, grilled chicken, fresh strawberries, quinoa, diced apples, avocado and strawberry vinaigrette
  • Avocado Duet - $12 - Two fresh avocado halves filled with tuna salad or chicken salad and your choice of side
  • Cheese Quesadilla - $9 - Flour tortilla, cheddar jack cheese and served with guacamole, pico de gallo and salsa.  Add chicken $3.  Add shrimp $3.  Add beef $4
  • Traditional Wings - $9 6pcs.  $15 12pcs.  Sauces: BBQ, teriyaki, honey garlic, buffalo
  • Nachos - $12 - Yellow corn chips, cheddar cheese, fresh jalapenos, guacamole and salsa.  Choice of chicken or ground beef.
  • Angus Burger - $13 - Black angus patty, sliced tomato, onion, sauteed mushrooms, green chile, caramelized onion, fresh jalapeno on a brioche bun. Served with your choice of cheese and side.
  • Club Sandwich - $13 - With lettuce, tomato, ham, turkey, peppered bacon and avocado.  Served with your choice of side.
