Michael Wachter 2nd Assistant Golf Professional

Michael's Background
Michael is the 2nd Assistant Golf Professional at Heritage Eagle Bend Golf Club. Some of Michael’s main responsibilities are running the MGA, golf lessons, and providing outstanding customer service. Michael is originally from the great state of Minnesota. He learned how to golf from an early age but his first love was baseball. Due to a nasty injury, his baseball career ended in high school and opened the door for his golf career. Michael left Minnesota to go attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated with a degree in Professional Golf Management. Michael received his Class A PGA status after graduation in 2016. Michael has worked at some phenomenal golf clubs across the country in his short career. They include: The Founders Golf Club in Sarasota FL, Firethorn Golf Club in Lincoln NE, and Columbine Country Club here in Denver. When Michael isn’t at the golf course his favorite activities are hiking with his husky, hanging out with friends, and playing video games.  Michael loves the game of golf and has a passion for teaching, growing the game, and making new relationships with great people.

Swing Philosophy
Michael’s main objective is to help each student set and achieve their golfing goals. Everyone, regardless of size, age or physical ability, can develop a repetitive golf swing.  After mastering the fundamentals of grip, posture and alignment (your GPA), students will learn about the key relationship between arm swing, body rotation and tempo. It is also Michael’s goal to break down the swing results and help the student understand so they can make the necessary adjustments when on the course or practicing individually.
