Elmir grew up in the restaurant business and worked in his parents' fine dining restaurant in Split, Croatia.
He joined the HEBGC team in February of 2018, coming from Blackstone Country Club & Black Bear Golf Club, where he was Director of Food & Beverage.
Elmir holds a black belt in Taekwondo and has been a rock climber for over 20 years. He loves everything Colorado has to offer, especially hiking the 14'ers. He loves to cook and is an avid gardener.
He has worked at many fine establishments in his expansive career, such as Denver's Warwick Hotel, Bruno's Italian Bistro, Sheraton Four Points, & Magianno's Little Italy Restaurant. He also worked at The Devil's Thumb Ranch & Resort in Tabernash, Colorado and Villa Sorriso Ristorante & Bar in Pasadena, California.
