|CAL Spring Term 2020 Cancellation|
|Due to the current closure of the Clubhouse due to the COVID-19 situation, the CAL Spring Term has been cancelled.|
The Center for Active Learning, an HEBGC subcommittee, is a program for residents at HEBGC who wish to pursue lifelong learning. CAL courses are scheduled over three 8-week terms: Fall (begins mid-September), Winter (begins in January) and Spring (begins end of March). Classes typically meet for 2 hours once a week but some courses may be abbreviated (2 or 4 weeks). There are also Special Events offered on a single day.
Our course developers/facilitators are all residents at HEBGC who volunteer their expertise, interests and time. No special qualifications or credentials are needed to become a facilitator, just a passion to share a subject or skill. If you have an idea for a CAL course, please contact CAL Curriculum Lead, Peggy Calhoun, firstname.lastname@example.org
