3.  Drug Take Back Collection
On January 27, 2018, HEBGC's Emergency Preparedness Committee and Centennial Rotary hosted a Drug Take Back Collection at the Clubhouse.  Officers from the Arapahoe Sheriff's Department collected prescription drugs and syringes so they could be disposed of properly and responsibly.  They collected 111 pounds of drugs and 46 pounds of syringes.  A big thank you to everyone at HEBGC who made this event such a success.

4.  Say congratulations to HEBGC member John Breeding.  Mr. Breeding was inducted into the Gaming Hall of Fame on Wednesday, October 4, 2017!

After reading about blackjack card-counters beating casinos in Atlantic City, Mr. Breeding envisoned the automatic shuffler in the early 1980's while working as a long-haul truck driver.  The company he started in his home evolved into one of the most influential casino suppliers in the history of the industry.  Mr. Breeding developed dozens of card shufflers, chip sorters for roulette, electronic table games, slot machines, internet games and legendary table games - including Let It Ride.  His company was a global juggernaut with 800 employees and products in six-of-the-seven continents.  Mr. Breeding's Shuffle Master remains one of Scientific Games' strongest and most profitable product brands.
