The Heritage Eagle Bend Women’s Golf Association (HEBWGA) was formed in 2001 by five ladies. The League has grown over the years and has an active membership of ladies who love to play competitive golf. Any woman who is a pass holder, homeowner, renter, or has a house under construction is welcome to join the League.
The HEBWGA plays a weekly fun tournament with a shotgun start each Tuesday morning, May through September. A sign up sheet for each play day is located in the Pro Shop. Pairings are sent out on Monday prior to each Tuesday event. The deadline for signing up to play is Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The ladies can sign up in advance one month at a time.
Annual League events include; a Spring Luncheon, a Fall Luncheon, a themed Member-Guest tournament on July 25 followed by a luncheon, a Women’s Club Championship tournament, and a holiday social event. The Women’s Club Championship, scheduled for August 28-29, is flighted by handicap and includes a trophy presentation at the Awards’ Luncheon. The fall general board meeting and luncheon is October 10.
A season long ringer tournament is held by recording each player's best score on each hole on our course during the League play days. At the Fall Luncheon, awards are given for ringers, birdies, chip-ins, and the most improved golfer.
A Hole-in-One fund is established to support ladies who get a hole-in-one during League play. A round of drinks for everyone (up to a $200 limit) will be served on the day the hole-in-one is made. The player receives an award at the Fall Luncheon.
