Thank you to our wonderful community volunteer's who helped tear down the Christmas decorations. It was wonderful to see that the light snow we had didn't stop anyone from coming to help. The members of Friends want everyone to know how much your help was appreciated.
Friends has a wonderful program planned for our February 23 meeting Our speaker will be Daniel Geary of Lone Tree Antiques and Fine Art. Mr. Geary will discuss Antiques; what is an antique; apprising antiques, selling antiques All members of our community are invited to come.
Do not miss this interesting presentation.  Our meeting starts at 9:30 in the Humbolt Room.  Hope to see lots of new Friends from our community.

The Eagle Bend Players, home of Heritage on Stage (acting) and Heritage Voices (singing) invite you to attend the annual General Meeting on January 31, 2018 at 6:30pm in the Craft Room.  The current board will give a "state of the club" report, collect dues and have elections to fill Board vacancies.  Members can choose to take part in either or both subgroups.
Eagle Bend Players is a group made up exclusively of Heritage Eagle Bend residents who are passionate about pursuing personal involvement in the performing arts – specifically choral music and stage productions.  Started in 2001, there has been a play/musical performed almost every year.  In 2002, a chorale was added.  Heritage Voices performs regularly three times a year.  Dues for our club are paid annually (cash or check) in the amount of $10.00.  We have a web site

The Christmas decorations are packed up for another year.   A huge thank you to Gene Blum and the Friends of HEB who donate money and manpower, and to all of the residents of HEB who assist us in accomplishing this daunting task of putting up and taking down the decorations.... without all of you it would never get done.  Every year new faces join us and it is gratifying to see so many willing to help.

Calling all "Royals" watchers. We know you are out there. CAL is offering a spring term course on royal weddings prior to the big event in May (Prince Harry's wedding). The course will run for 8 weeks. Some of the topics include Royal Weddings through the Times, Hollywood Royalty (Princess Grace and now Ms. Markle), the weddings of Diana and Charles, William and Kate, and, of course, wedding fashion. Facilitators have already been assigned to each presentation but CAL is looking for people who would like to assist on a specific topic. If you have experience, knowledge, interest, or even items to share for one of the various topics, please call Peggy Calhoun at 303-746-8190 or email her at
In addition, we need some volunteers to organize excursions to a High Tea or a castle such as Cherokee Ranch. If you have never participated in facilitating a class for CAL, this is an easy way to get involved.

The Lamplighters are a group of resident volunteers who will change exterior lights for residents who are either unable or unwilling to change their own. Specifically, the Lamplighters will change:
  1. Lamp post and garage lights for Traditions and Village residents.
  2. Lamp post lights only for residents in single family homes.
If your post light or garage lights (for Traditions and Village residents) are not working, you can call the HEB Welcome Desk and one of our volunteers will come and replace them. Please check that the GFI circuit (normally on an outlet just inside the garage door) has not been tripped before you call about a post light. On most HEB homes, the GFI circuit provides power to the post light and can only be reset at night when the garage lights are on.
Also, WE NEED SOME ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERS! If you are willing to help or have any questions about the Lamplighters, please call Jerry Gossner at (303) 680-5946.

Renting Your Home?

There are many rules and regulations to follow including following the Age Restriction at all times.  Please contact Diane Langley or Wendy Stofa in the HOA Admin Office before considering this so we can make sure we have everything we need and all parties understand this process.  You as the owner are responsible for everything that occurs in the home so you want to be informed.  Thank you!

Before you make this decision, have you thought everything out?  Do they have additional vehicles that you don’t have room for?  Are you gone from your home on vacations etc. and would be leaving them unattended?  Do they have pets that might be an issue?  Will having them in your home be a violation of the Age Restriction?  Many times they aren’t aware of the rules that we follow here and this becomes an issue for everyone.  Just some things to consider.  Thank you!

New Homeowners and Residents who have moved from one home to another in HEBGC be sure to contact Diane Langley, Assistant Community Manager, at 720-235-1826 to setup your required New Homeowner Orientation.  This is required for our Age Restriction and is a great way for you to learn about your community.
